Made in Portugal
The Portuguese coast is extensive: it includes 943 km in continental Portugal, 667 km in the Azores and 250 km in Madeira, including Ilhas Desertas, Ilhas Selvagens and Porto Santo islands. The coast formed beautiful beaches, ranging from cliffs to sandy beaches. The Portuguese marine waters are one of the richest in biodiversity in the world. The marine species are in the thousands and include sardines, tuna and mackerel. In Portugal, it is also possible to observe the phenomenon of resurgence, especially on the west coast, which makes the sea extremely rich in nutrients and biodiversity. Great and famous Chefs, from Europe to Asia, from the United States to Japan, recognise our fish as the best in the world. The entire country is bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, but the Algarve, the most southern region of the country, is under the climate influence of the Mediterranean sea.
